Washington School

At Eastminster we LOVE our city! We want to see the Lord bless and redeem Wichita, and we want to be an active part of seeing it thrive. One way we do this is by partnering with Washington Elementary School, which serves families in the 259 district. Our goal is to serve and bless the teachers, staff, kids and families at Washington and display the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Learn more on how to serve Washington School>>

International Student Ministry

Eastminster Church partners with ISI (International Students, Inc.) to reach out to the nations on our doorstep. We serve WSU international students, welcoming them into our homes and lives, and introducing them to the love of Jesus.

Volunteer with us in the following ways…

  • Table-n-Talk Ministry (TNT) – International students enjoy a homecooked meal and fellowship with us every Monday night in someone’s home. After dinner, we offer a cultural discussion and Bible study. You can serve as a cook, driver, discussion leader, bible discovery coach, or just come and hang out with students. You can also donate a pizza (or 3!) to help feed our hungry crowd.
  • Friendship Partner –ISI can match you with an international student. You connect several times a month to have English conversations, enjoy meals together, attend events and share all kinds of mutual interests. You can include your international friend in family activities and holidays, and international students often find a “home away from home” in these friendships. Click here to apply
  • Seasonal Activities – Join us to collect, donate, and give away furniture and household items to 400+ new students at The Great Giveaway every August, or host 2-3 students in your home for Thanksgiving Dinner.

• Only 2% of all money given globally toward missions go toward the unreached.
• Only one in 10 international missionaries go to serve the unreached and unengaged

Eastminster world missions is organized into regions, focused on unreached areas of the globe.

  • East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania)
